We approached the redesign with a focus on simplicity, texture and understated detail — letting the architecture of the barn remain the key feature while elevating the overall finish. A fresh neutral palette brightens the hallway and staircase, enhancing natural light and creating a calm, cohesive backdrop. The staircase was updated with a high-quality carpet, chosen for both durability and a softer, more luxurious appearance, finished with stair rods to bring a subtle sense of structure and classic detailing. Contemporary furniture pieces with clean lines complete the transition, blending the warmth of the barn with a more polished, modern aesthetic.
