At Van Der Poll Design, we believe the small details count, and we wanted to ensure the farmhouse felt extra special for its deserving wedding guests. The impressive building accommodates 17 guests across eight bedrooms, all designed with elegant en-suite bathrooms offering modern luxury and comfort. These are spread over two separate wings, offering a degree of separation and privacy whilst still being connected. We blended modern and classic furniture with statement colours that echo the country setting — dark greens and rich blues against light, modern wood. Inviting velvet bedside chairs and designer textiles pop against the deeper tones. The heart of the house is the inviting kitchen — perfect for late-night snacks or gossip over breakfast, with a large farmhouse table and benches nestled next to a traditional fireplace, and a stone island that keeps the host part of the conversation. Large French windows open onto the patio for fresh air on warm days.
